At gbArchitecture, we are dedicated to preserving historic buildings throughout Vermont and surrounding areas. We approach each historic building project—whether a restoration, renovation, or expansion—with the goal of preserving the building as one of the community's cultural resources. We recognize the role that adaptive re-use plays in sustainability, and we focus on working with the strengths inherent in each building to create healthy spaces that are optimal for people and the environment. Our Services Include: evaluation of building structures and systems, architectural design and construction management for renovations, expansions/Additions, adaptive re-use, and energy efficiency improvements, as well as brownfield remediation. We specialize in downtown revitalization planning and community facilitation.
