The Green River Community Church, constructed in 1838, anchors a trio of historic buildings and structures at the core of Green River Village, including the Timber Crib Dam and Green River Covered Bridge. The Green River Village Preservation Trust took over the building in 1998, which now serves as the community center and gathering place. The funds will support roof work and exterior repairs, including cornice repairs and repainting.
