Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grants Important Dates

April 1, 2025: Applications Open

April 11, 2025: Bruhn Grant Webinar, 1-2:30 pm 

May 1, 2025: Deadline for requests to the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation for Determination of Eligibility to the National Register. In order to be eligible and complete your application, you will need to know the property’s National Register Status.

If you know the property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, great, you are good to go.

If you do not know if your property is on the National Register, contact jenna@ptvermont.org for help.

If your property is not listed, it must be deemed eligible for listing by the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation in writing. Contact Elizabeth Peebles, (elizabeth.peebles@vermont.gov, 802-505-1147) VT State Architectural Historian, for more information. The deadline for submitting requests for a determination of eligibility (DOE) is May 1. You will need this DOE for your application, so don’t delay!

June 2, 2025: Deadline for application submission

July 21, 2025: Applicants notified

June 30, 2027: Projects must be completed
