Pierce’s Hall, East Putney
Constructed in 1831, Pierce’s Hall is a well- preserved, Federal-style building in rural East Putney. Originally constructed as a Methodist meetinghouse, the building was used for farm storage before being restored to its original use in 1881. The building was officially gifted to the Club in 1950 and continues to be a hub for community activities including contra dances, food shelf pop-ups, and community suppers. Funds will be used to repair exterior wood features (window sills, fans, and trim) and for repainting.
